In a time where a full venue capacity in live music stays on hold, Swedish heavy metal band Enforcer are giving the fans something to re-live until the doors open up again for worldwide touring. Their 2019 show captured at the Circo Volador venue in Mexico City is a performance unlike any other. If this doesn’t get the heavy metal blood flowing, there’s no telling what will. Frontman Olof Wikstrand joins the IUF podcast to talk about that specific day and how the call to record this gig was a spontaneous one. And hey, the best decision can always come from the quickest one, right? Even though Olof is making the best of this current worldwide situation, he is itching to get back out there with his bandmates once again. The live experience is what brings out the best in Enforcer, especially when ushering on board the influences from Iron Maiden, Angel Witch, and Wolf to name a few. With their own modern twist, Enforcer always puts on the show of a lifetime to where, well…it feels like a lifetime since their last one. Mark this band in your calendars once the pandemic is over because it’s this sort of show we will need to feel in our bones soon. Tune into our conversation with Olof now and be sure to pick up Enforcer’s newest live masterpiece “Live By Fire II”, out now on Nuclear Blast Records.
