We welcome singer-songwriter Ashlynn Malia, a new talent and rising pop artist onto IUF. Being introduced to the music industry at the age of 12 has really set the bar high from the get-go as she took the stage nationwide with the highly popular Kidz Bop performance group. That set up plenty of inspiration down the road for her as she is now getting set to release her debut EP titled “Rather Be Alone.” Joining producers like Andrew Weitz and Koby Berman has really helped her get that specific sound and different themes she needed on this record, and we get the chance to dive into those processes with her. Now at the age of 20, this first chapter is the start of many. Ashlynn also talks about how the writing stages of this album started over 2 years back and the path it took to get to this point, which wasn’t easy in any way you look at it. She may have worked with the likes of Justin Bieber and Taylor Swift in her days of youth, but now it’s her time to shine and make a stamp in the music realm – and YES, she’s coming in hot. So much to discover behind the drive of this individual and artist, join us in our conversation with Ashlynn Malia and be sure to buy and stream her debut EP, “Rather Be Alone,” out June 25 on Jullian Records/The Orchard.
