On the day after his birthday, we had the honor of speaking with Joakim Nilsson, front man of Swedish hard rock group, Graveyard. Growing up on the classics of jazz, blues, and psychedelic rock, Joakim stays true to his roots and colors citing bands of influence like Black Sabbath . 15 years and 5 albums in, Graveyard has been keeping the sound of traditional rock and roll alive with extensive touring and visiting different parts of the world as they begin a new chapter in their one of a kind history of the band. Even when other groups were moving along with what the fans wanted to hear, Graveyard was the band that stuck to it’s true sound. And they do it with perfection. If you ever get the chance to see these guys in person, prepare for a concert journey you’ll remember forever. Their latest album “Peace” is out now on Nuclear Blast Records.
