War On Women Interview Quarantine Style

Today, we had the amazing opportunity to chat with singer, writer, and activist Shawna Potter from feminist hardcore-punk group War On Women. People and artists like her are more of what the world needs. Aside from fronting a metal band and managing small businesses like Big Crunch Amps alongside band mate Brooks Harlan, she creates workshops about safer environments around the public to working towards eliminating harassment. Those workshops spawned her own published book titled “Making Spaces Safer”, and we urge everyone to go out and pick up a copy through AK Press. While everyone is on lock down, this also gives musicians like her time to work on new albums, which is exciting stuff we can expect in the near future. As usual, stay safe everyone! War on Women’s latest record, “Capture The Flag” is out now via Bridge 9 Records.
