Growing up, seasoned veteran vocalist/frontman Rob Dukes was immersed in the genres of punk rock during his youth, at the same time it served as a gateway genre before tapping into the music of heavy metal. Fast forward to now, he has conquered many roads of fronting other music acts such as Exodus, Bloodmoon Ritual, and Fragile Mortals. If there was any artist out there who needed a memoir written, it’s Rob. We get the chance to sit with him to talk about his latest work with his current band, Generation Kill. The new album “MKUltra”, captures a revamped sound of the bands established work in thrash-crossover. Rob takes us through the production process that picked up from where they left off, which was nearly 10 years ago. A decade between albums is not an easy task, but Generation Kill knows no limit on time in between releases. The wait was sure worth every second, and Rob has been grateful during those years which allowed him to grow personally and artistically. Many stories are to be heard during this episode, tune in now with our conversation with Rob and be sure to buy and stream the new record “MKUltra”, out now worldwide via Blood Blast Distribution and Art Is War Records.
