Diva Satanica of BLOODHUNTER

It was great to welcome Diva Satanica back to IUF for the second time and catch up on everything that’s happened since our first conversation in 2021. With Bloodhunter’s new album “Sons Of The Abandoned” now unleashed through ROAR/Reigning Phoenix Music, we explored a record that feels like a defining moment for both the band and Diva herself. More personal, introspective, and emotionally charged than anything Bloodhunter has released before, the album dives into themes of identity, disconnection, resilience, and self-discovery.

Throughout our conversation, Diva opened up about returning her focus to Bloodhunter, embracing vulnerability in her songwriting, and balancing the band’s trademark aggression with a broader melodic and atmospheric scope. We also discussed key tracks like “The Outspoken,” “Threshold of Hell,” and “The Devil’s Own,” along with collaborations featuring Fernando Ribeiro of Moonspell and Laura Guldemond of Burning Witches. The result is a conversation about growth, perseverance, and a band unafraid to evolve while staying true to its roots.
